{"id":906,"date":"2025-03-13T14:42:15","date_gmt":"2025-03-13T14:42:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.ipleiria.pt\/4enda2025\/?page_id=906"},"modified":"2025-03-13T14:42:15","modified_gmt":"2025-03-13T14:42:15","slug":"intro","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.ipleiria.pt\/4enda2025\/intro\/","title":{"rendered":"Intro"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>4th National Meeting on Academic Discourse (ENDA 4)<\/strong>&nbsp;will take place at the&nbsp;<strong>School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santar\u00e9m, Portugal<\/strong>, on&nbsp;<strong>October 17\u201318, 2025<\/strong>, under the theme:&nbsp;<strong>&#8220;Transversality of Language: Linguistic Description and Didactic Transposition.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ENDA 4 aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strengthen the disciplinary field of school and academic discourse;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reinforce connections between researchers and educators;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote the application of collaborative dynamics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop work on and for school and academic literacy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share innovative pedagogical practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ENDA 4 is jointly organized by the&nbsp;<strong>Center for General and Applied Linguistics Studies (CELGA-ILTEC, University of Coimbra)<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>School of Education of Santar\u00e9m<\/strong>. The event is also supported by the&nbsp;<strong>interinstitutional group ProTextos: Teaching and Learning of Text Writing<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>School of Education and Social Sciences of the Polytechnic of Leiria.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important Dates<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>First call for proposals:<\/strong>&nbsp;March 31, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second call for proposals:<\/strong>&nbsp;April 15, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proposal submission period:<\/strong>&nbsp;April 15 \u2013 May 15, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Proposal evaluation period:<\/strong>&nbsp;May 16 \u2013 July 15, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Final notification to authors:<\/strong>&nbsp;July 16, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>First registration period (reduced fee):<\/strong>&nbsp;July 16 \u2013 September 14, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Second registration period (regular fee):<\/strong>&nbsp;September 15 \u2013 October 1, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ENDA 4 conference dates:<\/strong>&nbsp;October 17\u201318, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Submission of full papers:<\/strong>&nbsp;January 15, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Call for Proposals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submissions are invited for ongoing or completed research work on school and academic discourse that aligns with the objectives of&nbsp;<strong>ENDA 4<\/strong>.
