Decorreu ontem, dia 17 de dezembro, em Lisboa, a III Cimeira Portugal-Cabo Verde<\/strong> dedicada ao “Mar” e que foi marcada pelo refor\u00e7o da coopera\u00e7\u00e3o bilateral<\/strong> (informa\u00e7\u00e3o concedida\u00a0\u00e0 Lusa por uma fonte do gabinete do Primeiro-Ministro portugu\u00eas).<\/p>\n

No \u00e2mbito da Cimeira estava prevista a assinatura de 12 instrumentos<\/strong> – entre os quais, protocolos, memorandos de entendimento e programa-quadro de coopera\u00e7\u00e3o -, e em \u00e1reas como a educa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, sa\u00fade<\/strong>, defesa<\/strong> e comunidade<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A recente\u00a0erup\u00e7\u00e3o do vulc\u00e3o nas ilha do Fogo, uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o dram\u00e1tica que assola o pa\u00eds presentemente, foi discutida na Cimeira.<\/p>\n

Destaque para o relacionamento de dois Estados “que prestam grande aten\u00e7\u00e3o ao potencial que o mar tem e que merece ser valorizado nos contextos econ\u00f3mico, ambiental e social”<\/strong> sendo que um dos aspetos que tem de ser aprofundado \u00e9 a fiscaliza\u00e7\u00e3o conjunta do espa\u00e7o mar\u00edtimo<\/strong>. De notar que, neste \u00e2mbito, estava tamb\u00e9m prevista a assinatura de um acordo sobre “literacia mar\u00edtima<\/strong>“, voltado para a educa\u00e7\u00e3o escolar.<\/p>\n

A 16 DE DEZEMBRO DE 2014, V\u00c9SPERA DA CIMEIRA<\/strong>, decorreu um semin\u00e1rio econ\u00f3mico promovido pela AICEP – Ag\u00eancia para o Investimento e Com\u00e9rcio Externo de Portugal-, dedicada ao tema “Portugal e Cabo Verde – Juntos em Novas Geografias”<\/strong>, com sess\u00f5es sobre ambiente e oportunidades de neg\u00f3cio e regime fiscal no arquip\u00e9lago e sobre apoio \u00e0 internacionaliza\u00e7\u00e3o das empresas portuguesas e financiamento das atividades econ\u00f3micas.<\/p>\n

On December 17th, in Lisbon, the III Portugal-Cape Verde Summit took place, dedicated to the “Sea” where both countries joint efforts to strenghten the bilateral cooperation.<\/em><\/p>\n

12 instruments were signed by both countries, including protocols, memorandums of understandings and programmes of cooperation in diverse areas, such as education, defense and community.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The recent eruption of the vulcano in the Fogo Island was a hot topic of discusion, a dramatic situation that currently plagues the small archipelago.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The relationship between the two countries that rely heavily on the sea and that must take full advantage of its potencialities in the environmental, economic and social contexts was highlighted during the Summit as was the necessity of further conjoint maritime inspection and control.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

ON DECEMBER 16th, an economic seminar dedicated to business opportunities for portuguese companies in Cape Verde took place, promoted by AICEP -Ag\u00eancia para o Investimento e Com\u00e9rcio Externo de Portugal. <\/em><\/p>\n
