Sus intereses investigadores se centran en la educaci\u00f3n para una ciudadan\u00eda democr\u00e1tica, inclusiva y comprometida con los problemas sociales relevantes, las cuestiones socialmente vivas y los temas controvertidos. Estas l\u00edneas de inter\u00e9s articulan la actividad del Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n Reconocido DHISO, que dirige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su trayectoria investigadora ha sido reconocida con su nominaci\u00f3n como uno de los 10 mejores investigadores en ciencias sociales a nivel mundial en la s\u00e9ptima edici\u00f3n del Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN) Prize 2022. Su nominaci\u00f3n fue propuesta por un jurado internacional compuesto por varios premios Nobel y el 1% de los mejores cient\u00edficos y cient\u00edficas en sus respectivos campos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, es Vicerrector de Responsabilidad Social, Cultura y Deporte de la Universidad de Burgos, con competencias en la promoci\u00f3n de la igualdad, la diversidad, la inclusi\u00f3n social y la no discriminaci\u00f3n. Presently, he coordinates the English Department and has coordinated the Chinese-Portuguese-English Studies programme and teacher training courses for primary school English teachers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is Polit\u00e9cnico de Leiria\u2019s mentor to English Teaching Assistants on the US Fulbright Program, and has taught English language, culture and EFL methodology disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark participates in European Union-funded projects and gives talks on a regular basis at national and international conferences. Dora administers all programs for U.S. citizens interested in pursuing a study, teaching or research project in Portugal under the Fulbright Program of educational exchange. She graduated from Emory University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology &amp; Human Biology, as well as a second major in Spanish &amp; Portuguese. Bushra has been in Leiria since September of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an English Teaching Assistant, she helps in teaching Communications and Media and Business English classes at ESECS, as well as giving presentations on American culture at Don Dinis EB 2\/3 school, Leiria. She is certain her experience as a Fulbrighter will provide valuable cross-cultural insights for her professional aspirations in healthcare. Ha colaborado en la creaci\u00f3n de ciclos de estudios en el \u00e1rea de la formaci\u00f3n del profesorado (licenciatura y m\u00e1ster), as\u00ed como de cursos de formaci\u00f3n para profesores portugueses y de pa\u00edses de habla portuguesa. Es investigadora del Centro de Estudios en Educaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n (CI&amp;DEI) y ha estado investigando sobre el estudio de clase en la formaci\u00f3n inicial del profesorado, centr\u00e1ndose en el desarrollo del conocimiento did\u00e1ctico de los profesores, en particular en lo que se refiere a la discusi\u00f3n colectiva. (1984) y profesor catedr\u00e1tica de Did\u00e1ctica de las Matem\u00e1ticas en el Instituto de Educaci\u00f3n de la Universidad de Lisboa. Ha sido Director de este Instituto y profesor visitante en universidades de Brasil y Espa\u00f1a. Ha coordinado proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n en Did\u00e1ctica de las Matem\u00e1ticas, Formaci\u00f3n del Profesorado y TIC. Ha dirigido 48 tesis doctorales y 91 programas de m\u00e1ster. Ha investigado la pr\u00e1ctica profesional, el conocimiento del profesorado y el desarrollo profesional, con especial atenci\u00f3n al estudio del aula y a la ense\u00f1anza-aprendizaje de los n\u00fameros, el \u00e1lgebra y el razonamiento matem\u00e1tico. Ha publicado libros, cap\u00edtulos y art\u00edculos en revistas como <em>Educational Studies in Mathematics<\/em>, ZDM, <em>Journal of Mathematics Teacher Education<\/em>, RELIME, <em>Acta Scientiae<\/em> y BOLEMA. Fue el autor de la propuesta de adaptaci\u00f3n del Proceso de Bolonia a la formaci\u00f3n inicial del profesorado. Para analisarmos os conte\u00fados parcialmente falsos ou apresentados fora de contexto partilhados nas redes sociais e nos m\u00e9dia de uma forma geral, \u00e9 preciso possuir algumas ferramentas te\u00f3ricas e pr\u00e1ticas.
