Call for papers

The parallel communication sessions are intended for the presentation of educational experiences, projects, research works, tools and materials within the themes defined for the V CIEAD. The sessions will take place in parallel, in rooms previously indicated for this purpose. The organization of the V CIEAD invites professors, researchers, students and technicians from institutions/associations to present their work in one of the following formats:

Article

The submission of the article abstract must occur according to the pre-defined model, presented below, and must not exceed 1500 characters, including spaces. The abstract must contain reference to the topic, objectives, methodology used and conclusions. The abstract of the article to be submitted must be sent to quinto.ciead@gmail.com until october 23, 2022.

The submission of the complete article for publication must follow the pre-defined model presented below, and must not exceed 35,000 characters, including spaces. The works accepted by the organization, and presented by the respective authors, will be published in the V CIEAD proceedings, in digital format, for which the respective ISBN was requested. The complete article to be published must be sent to quinto.ciead@gmail.com until november 27, 2022.

Poster
The submission of the poster abstract must follow the pre-defined template, presented below, and must not exceed 1500 characters, including spaces. The abstract must contain reference to the topic, objectives, methodology used and conclusions. The abstract of the poster to be submitted must be sent to quinto.ciead@gmail.com until october 23, 2022.

The submission of the poster to be presented is done according to the predefined template, presented below. The poster must be structured in Power-Point format, on a single slide. The poster must be sent toquinto.ciead@gmail.com until october 30, 2022.

Poster presentation: 5 minutes

Equipment available: PC, projector, wireless Internet

Proposals submitted will be subject to blind review by IV CIEAD Scientific Commission and their authors will be inform if it was accepted and/or about suggested changes The assessment will take the following into consideration:
The relevance of the proposal vis-à-vis the theme of the conference
The scientific quality and contribution of the proposal
Adherence to style guidelines
The results of this analysis will be communicated to authors until 10 days after receipt of abstracts.
The presentation of accepted papers and their publication in the minutes requires registration in the IV CIEAD. Up to 3 authors, the registration of at least one of the authors is mandatory. Four authors implies the registration of at least 2 of the authors. If the number of authors is greater than 4, it will require the registration of at least 3 authors.

The abstracts of the articles and posters presented will be subject to consideration by the Scientific Committee of the V CIEAD, which will inform the respective authors of their acceptance and/or the suggested alteration proposals.

The Scientific Committee will focus on:

. the adequacy of the work to the proposed themes
. the scientific quality of work
. compliance with writing standards

The results of this analysis will be communicated to authors within 10 days of receipt.

The presentation of accepted works, and their publication in the proceedings, requires registration in the V CIEAD. Up to 3 authors, the registration of at least one of the authors is mandatory. Four authors implies the registration of at least 2 of the authors. If the number of authors is greater than 4, it will imply the registration of at least 3 authors.

Communication presentation certificates will only be issued to authors registered for the event.

Each author can only submit up to 3 works individually, or up to 5 in co-authorship.
