Researchers from the CDRSP attended a ceramic materials science conference, “Shaping 7”.

On the days 11th to 13th of September, two researchers from the CDRSP attended a ceramic materials science conference, “Shaping 7”, which took place at the University of Aveiro and was arranged by the European Ceramic Society (ECERS), the Portuguese Ceramic Society and the Aveiro University.

On the first day, Researcher Vicente Caneiro presented his work developed at CDRSP about “Applying Additive Manufacturing of Glass in the Automatic Glass Industry” while researcher Ana Ramos presented her work on “Optimization of 3d printing parameters for Robocasting / DIW – Experiences with industrial earthenware” on the second day.
Having attended this international congress, our researchers classified it as a huge importance event as they were possible no only to keep up with the actual ceramics materials science developments but also to present their work developments.
