Celebration of scientific cooperation between Polytechnic of Leiria and CERN
The Polytechnic of Leiria celebrated last October 28, a protocol of scientific and technological cooperation with the CERN – European Organization for Nuclear Research. The agreement was signed by Nuno Mangas, president of the Polytechnic of Leiria, and Miguel Jimenez, director of the CERN Technology Department. The ceremony was held at the José Saramago Library, and Paulo Ferrão, president of the Foundation for Science and Technology, said: “We can only be ahead of others if we are associated with the best ones”.
During the ceremony were visited the various campus of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria.
