Professor Geoffrey Mitchell, Vice-director of the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRsp) of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, was elected as a member of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) in the UK. IPEM is the professional organisation for physicists, clinical and biomedical engineers and technologists working in medicine and biology .
