Visitor from Kazakhstan Electrospins

This week CDRSP welcomed Aigul  Iskakova from the Institute of Combustion Problems of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Kazakhstan. She will spend two weeks on an internship working with Professor Geoffrey Mitchell gaining experience in producing nanoscale fibres using electrospinning techniques. Her Institute led by Director Zulkhair Mansurov  has a collaborative programme with CDRSP.  They are interested in preparing high performance carbon fibres from electrospun nanoscale polymer fibres. Biomanufacturing at Nanotech Italy 2013
